It applies to all SmartStore Brasil customers, including website and physical store customers, whose personal data is processed by us in any way.

SmartStore Brasil collects and stores the following types of information:

Information you provide to us: SmartStore Brasil collects Customer information in various ways, such as when you provide your CPF for invoice issuance; exchange a product; purchase one of the services offered in physical stores or on the website; create an account and provide data in “My Account”; place an order on our website; pick up a product purchased online at a physical store; participate in raffles; interact with Customer Service; or participate in surveys or marketing promotions, etc. The information requested may include: full name, email, CPF, date of birth, gender, address, phone numbers, and credit card number.

Information automatically collected by SmartStore Brasil: we collect and store certain information whenever the Customer interacts with us. For example, we use cookies and obtain information when your browser accesses our website; when you click on advertisements, partner emails, and other content provided by us on other websites.

We may use this information to offer personalized content such as advertisements, search results, and others. Most mobile devices allow Customers to disable location services.

• data providers (e.g., demographic data related to online advertising and based on Customer interests).

3. Why do we request your personal data?

The data is necessary to:

• deliver purchased products or contracted services;

• deliver purchased products or services;

SmartStore Brasil uses legal bases, which may vary according to the purpose of collection, to process Customers’ personal data. Storage periods may vary depending on the applicable legal basis and purpose.

3.1. Marketing services

Marketing services are offered through free communications about offers, services, and products directed to the Customer, related to their website profile and past purchases. This service includes emails, SMS, and WhatsApp. Customers may cancel the service at any time by accessing “My Account” or by emailing contato@smartstorebrasil.com.br

4. With whom do we share your data?

The collected information will only be shared when necessary: (i) for the proper provision of services with partner companies; (ii) for protection in case of conflict; (iii) by court order or request from a competent authority; (iv) with companies that provide technological and operational infrastructure, such as payment intermediaries and data storage service providers.

SmartStore Brasil will have 15 days to respond to data subject requests. Requests will be analyzed in accordance with applicable legislation, and for legal reasons, some requests may not be fulfilled.

SmartStore Brasil uses security protocols to protect Customer data privacy, and also recommends individual protection measures.

To maintain the security and protection of your personal data provided during registration or purchases, under no circumstances should your login and password be shared with third parties. Additionally, when accessing your account via “My Account,” especially on public computers, make sure you log out to prevent unauthorized access and use of your information.

We do not request personal data via phone, WhatsApp, SMS, or email. Under no circumstances should such data be provided, as this may be an attempt at misuse.

13. How to contact SmartStore Brasil’s data protection officer?

14. Legislation and jurisdiction

This policy shall be governed, interpreted, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, especially Law No. 13.709/2018, regardless of the laws of other states or countries, and the courts of the district of Campinas shall have jurisdiction to resolve any issues arising from this document.
